Barrique Cellar

Brick vault of prefabricated elements - that is the solution for many building projects with a tight budget and narrow time frame. The natural building material brick, made from fired clay, plays a key role here. Firstly it helps in a natural way to create a calm and balanced room climate with few temperature variations; secondly it ensures with its hygroscopic properties that excess humidity is absorbed and given off again when the humidity drops. Depending on the depth of installation in the ground, therefore, it is possible to dispense with extra artificial air-conditioning.

The immense savings in time in construction of the vault is achieved by prefabricating the solid brick elements in our factory, meaning they need only be assembled at the later site. This method ensures we and you keep to budget. Whole vault systems can be erected in this way in just a day's work.

The ARCasa cap vault (vertical side walls with a "cap" on top) also allows construction of narrow vaults with high ceilings. In the case of the ARCave barrel vault, by contrast, width and height are proportionate to each other. The length of the vault is unrestricted in the case of both variants.
