Profile
In the Course of Time
In 2009 we joined the patrons of Slow Food Deutschland e.V. - the German chapter of a global association of connoisseurs and responsible consumers who have made it their goal to cultivate and keep alive a culture of food and drink.
2008 - Delivery of the largest vault project in the history of our company - a 1,280 square-metre ARCasa vaulted cellar for the school building of the monastery Klosters Hegne in Allensbach on Lake Constance.
2007 - Our new agency in Spain generates first large orders from Spanish wineries.
2005 - We expand our broad portfolio of services to include complete turnkey interior finishing of newly built vaults and existing buildings, and implement it for the first time in the form of a hand-made wine cellar in an existing cellar room.
In the same year we established a planning department to enable us to offer complete concepts from wishful thought to finished project. This department also enables us to contribute our know-how to realisation more effectively.
1994 - Investment in our brick factory totalling DM 3.5 million.
1993 - Jürgen Neuschwander takes over his uncle Erich's shares in the company and increasingly also responsibility and the large wealth of experience in order to steer the company's fortunes in the third generation today.
1978 - First cross-border deliveries of prefabricated brick vaults to Switzerland. To date we have realised more than 3,100 vault projects within a radius of more than 2,000 km from us, from Vienna to Madrid and from Stralsund to Turin.
In 1974 the then revolutionary idea of manufacturing vaulted brick ceilings and therefore of building vaulted cellars took on concrete shape. The first vaulted cellar prototype proved feasible and soon afterwards we received the first order to deliver the first vaulted cellar of vaulted prefabricated brick components to our neighbouring village of Botenheim.
In 1971 the brothers built the factory for the construction of prefabricated elements of brick in the wake of the first signs of the freshly emergent technique of prefabricated house construction.
1868 - The buildings around the current site are built.
1508 - Brick-making in Brackenheim is mentioned in the records for the first time.
The results of our work are wine treasure vaults, stores, wellness areas and buildings for sustainable ecological food production.
