Kopfensteiner Wine Estate

Wine estate of the Kopfensteiner family, 8.5 ha, 95% red wines, mainly Blaufränkische, but also Blauburger, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt.
Numerous awards, including one star in "Falstaff", have been won in the life of the estate and its wines.
The Cuvée "Border" of 2002 from the barrel is ranked in Fallstaff's choice of best red wines in 2001.

New construction of a barrique cellar in August 2000:
Two vaults, 3.10 x 14.25m and 3.80 x 15.50 m. Adjacent vault for wine-tasting sessions.
