Third Wine Cellar in Heidelberg
The natural materials brick, trass, oak and Cotto were also used here and together create the right climate for wine storage with the help of just one controlled fan (no air-conditioning!).The vault, which joins the side shelves architecturally into a unit and allows the air to circulate freely, is faced with pure marsh lime plaster. The lamps embedded flush in the bricks above the wine rack produce a pleasant, friendly ambience to highlight what is important here: the wine.
Modern accessories: the up-down lights on the gable ends
We supplied and installed the complete interior finish, from Coot floor to brick vault. The only external personnel needed was an electrician for the wiring.
